With this win, the U.S.A. climbed the top spot in Group A with two wins in two matches followed by India at the second place with a win in their opener against Ireland.
To qualify for the Super 8, Pakistan need to buckle up as they are scheduled to play three more matches in the group stage including the high-voltage clash against India. On the other hand, the U.S.A are required at least one victory to increase their Super 8 qualification chances.
