The countdown for the biggest cricketing tournament ICC ODI World Cup 2023 has officially begun. India is set to host the upcoming tournament, and it goes without saying, fans from across the world are ticking off dates on their calendars for the same. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the schedule for the 2023 World Cup on June 27, and the tournament will kick start with a clash between the reigning champions and the runners-up of the past edition, England and New Zealand.
India will play their first game on October 8 against Australia in Chennai. With less than 100 days to go before the mega event, cricket followers in the Indian subcontinent and across the world are now waiting for the ticket sales to go live.

- The international cricket regulating body will release the World Cup 2023 tickets in the first week of July by making them available online through its official website or app.
- Apart from that, tickets would probably be available on different platforms as well such as PayTM, PayTM Insider, BookMyShow app, and website.
- The tickets for the forthcoming ICC event will be predominantly sold online, with the probability of only a limited number being available offline.
