Rohit Sharma & Co. is all set to take on England in the semifinal 2 of the T20 World Cup 2022. The Men in Blue are coming after a brilliant run of form, registering four wins out of the five games they played in the Super 12 stage. Out of the four semifinalists, India is the only team with eight points to their name.
Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, who has struggled to score big at the international stage lately suffered a major blow ahead of the team’s semifinal game. The Indian opener got hit on his forearm during the net session on November 8 (Tuesday), but returned later to practice later.
The 35-year-old has now opened up on his injury. The cricketer said, “I am absolutely fine now”, in the pre-match press conference.
Talking about India’s Playing XI for the semifinal clash, Rohit Sharma confirmed that both Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will feature in the all-important match. “Both Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will be in equation”, the batter said while addressing the media ahead of semifinal game on Wednesday.
