Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has denied all the reports of rumours with Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza. Rubbishing all the rumours, he has blamed it on their ‘busy schedule’ that both of them haven’t been able to see each other in the recent past. He also said that he misses his wife, and wished both of them could celebrate the festival of Eid together.
In a recent interview on the Geo News programme 'Score', Malik has said that he and his wife are not in any divorce process and neither have they got separated. Though the popular Pakistan cricketer said that all marriages go through ups and downs but that does not mean that the relationship is over. Speaking in the interview, he said, “Nothing about it. I want to say that had we have been together on Eid, it would have been awesome. Unfortunately, she has her own commitments and doing shows in IPL, which is the reason why we are not together. We share love like always and I definitely miss her."
Malik went on to say that they have commitments to fulfil, but Eid is a day when one misses people who are closest to them. He clarified that Sania is busy with her schedule and commitments, but their love for each other remains the same.
Notably, the Indo-Pak couple got married in 2010 in Hyderabad, followed by a Walima ceremony in Pakistan, and they are parents to a four-year-old son, Izhaan Mirza Malik.
