The third T20I against West Indies on August 8, Tuesday, saw Indian men bounce back in the series. Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant 44-ball 83 inning and shouldered his side to the winners’ side. The 32-year-old was on fire, and he hit 10 boundaries and four maximums, including an MS Dhoni's Helicopter Shot, in the match. However, Yadav didn’t stop there, and was seen in jolly mood during the post-match ceremony, where he corrected a reporter on his number of 100s.
Despite a wonderful knock, SKY fell short of 17 runs from scoring his fourth hundred. Awarded as Player of the Match, Yadav corrected a reporter during the valedictory ceremony after the game, who forgot the number of hundreds Yadav has hit so far.
When a reporter asked him if he was sad as he missed on hitting his third century, Yadav corrected him and said it would have been his fourth century. The reporter asked him, “You played such a great knock, but it was so close, are you sad that you could have gotten a third 100 or are you happy that you played a great knock.”

Replying to him, SKY said, “Sir, I would like to correct you first, it would have been a fourth 100,” before bursting out in laughter. Notably, India successfully achieved the 160-run target in merely 17.5 overs and took the series tally to 1-2. After three games in the West Indies, both teams will fly to Florida for two back-to-back matches, scheduled on August 12 and August 13.
