The Indian sports personalities took the red carpet on Thursday (March 23) at the Indian Sports Honours 2023 in Mumbai. While there were several Bollywood celebrities to also light up the night, former India captain and mainstay Virat Kohli took the limelight. The Indian cricketer was joined by his wife Anushka Sharma, the couple who recently announced the merger of their individual foundations and launched a new non-profit initiative ‘seVVA’.
The evening at the Indian Sports Honours starred Indian opener Shubman Gill, along with the golden boy in Neeraj Chopra also making his presence felt ahead of his jam-packed training schedule. Bollywood celebrities Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh took made a presence in their glitz with father and former badminton star Prakash Padukone. India's Renuka Singh, Brazil's Roberta Moretti Avery and Laura Cardoso were also some of the women cricketers to grace the event.
Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia , Rhea Chakrobarty were a few other celebrities who attended the event in Mumbai.

Netizen were quick to drop reactions as Virat walked the red carpet at the Indian Sports Honours. While some hailed the power couple as the “Best in cricket history”, a few others noticed the sweet and caring moment when Virat can be seen helping his wife Anushka as they walk past.
