Punjab Kings defeated Chennai Super Kings by four wickets in a thrilling contest on the last ball of the game. CSK batting first posted 200/4 in 20 overs, with Devon Conway scoring the majority of runs (92*) for his side and skipper MS Dhoni smashing two sixes in the last two balls of CSK's innings played a crucial role for their team in reaching the total of 200 runs.
Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh gave a fantastic start for Punjab Kings during the chase, and Liam Livingstone played a blinder of a knock to accelerate Punjab's scoring rate. In the end, it came down to Sikandar Raza to chase down three runs off the last ball, and he placed it down beautifully despite terrific bowling from Matheesha Pathirana, who almost went on to defend nine runs in the final over for his side.
