Indian all-arounder and Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya has completed a historic trade to his former side, Mumbai Indians, ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. Pandya was one of Mumbai's best-scouted players as he developed into a crucial member of MI's four title wins. Pandya returns to Mumbai in an all-cash deal where MI will pay Gujarat INR 15 crore ($1.8 million approx) as per ESPNcricinfo.

After this successful run, Hardik Pandya was released by the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2022 season as part of the expansion draft as Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants came in as new franchises. Here, the CVC Capital Partners-owned Titans drafted Pandya as one of their players and soon named him the captain of the side.

Hardik Pandya made his IPL debut in 2015 for the Mumbai Indians and has played 123 matches so far. Pandya has scored 2309 runs, with an average of 30.38 and slammed 10 half-centuries. The Baroda all-rounder has the highest IPL score of 91 runs and has hit 172 fours and 125 sixes in his IPL career.
