Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), have announced their retained players list ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. The Jaipur-based franchise, captained by Sanju Samson, will be looking forward to delivering better performances in the upcoming season after finishing in fifth place on the points table in 2023 due to a poor second half of last IPL.

After the IPL auction last season, Rajasthan Royals had a purse of ₹3.35 crore, which is set to increase by a sum of ₹5 crore for all the teams, as per the new ruling of the IPL governing council. Now, with some of the high profile players retained by RR from the last season, they will be spending big money to add more such players to their squad for the IPL 2024 season during the upcoming auction.
