Bollywood veteran actress Sonali Bendre reacted to former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar’s admiration for her in the past. The former cricketer once expressed his fondness for the actress, which resurfaced a few years later. It prompted a response from the actress herself. In an old interview, Akhtar had expressed his admiration for the ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ actress and jokingly stated that he would propose marriage to her.
Not only this but he also went on to say that if she refused the proposal, he would kidnap the actress. The humorous yet bold statement from the Pakistan cricket legend garnered attention from Indian fans, including famous YouTuber Shubhankhar Mishra. He was in a conversation with Bendre and brought the topic up during the podcast.

During the actress’ recent appearance on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Mishra highlighted her popularity in Pakistan. However, the actress responded to the claims and Akhtar’s alleged proposal saying that she doesn’t how true it was. Bendre said, “I don’t know how true this is, even in those times there used to be fake news.” Not only this, but Mishra also spoke about former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina’s honest admission of his admiration for the actress.
Mishra told Bendre that in an interview, Raina expressed his affection for the actress and started blushing as soon as he took her name.
