Lewis Hamilton gives special gift to Brazilian couple, who celebrated 7-time champion's 2021 win at their wedding

Seven-time Formula 1 champion was recently honoured with the Brazilian citizenship ahead of the race weekend. Although Hamilton did not secure the P1, but surely finished at the podium in his home race. With a double podium for Mercedes at the Brazilian GP 2022, the team is now third with 505 points, only behind Red Bull and Ferrari.

To celebrate their win further, Mercedes Petronas extended their celebration with the couple who celebrated Hamilton’s win in Brazil during their wedding celebration. Yes, you read it right! 

A Brazilian couple who got married in 2021 were told about Lewis Hamilton winning the famous race, leading to couple pausing things and celebrating this win first.  This couple also did a ‘Shoey’ during the dance on the wedding day. The video of this celebration went viral which had a cutout of the seven-time champion at the back.

Now in the latest update, the Germany automotive company had a surprise for the couple, whose video had reportedly reached them. The Silver Arrows gifted the couple an autographed race suit of Lewis Hamilton ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix 2022. The present was sent to the couple as their anniversary gift.

Talking about the Brazilian GP 2022, George Russell finished P1 with Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz completing the podium. Two-time F1 champion Max Verstappen finished sixth with teammate Sergio Perez finishing seventh.
