The players list for the IPL 2024 auction has been released officially. The auction is set to take place on 19th December in Dubai, where a total of 333 players are there in the auctions in 19 different sets.  Overall, a maximum of 77 slots are only available to be filled in all ten IPL franchises before the start of the 2024 season. Here in this article, we will look at the list of set-1 players from IPL 2024 auctions.

List of players in set-1 of IPL 2024 auctions:

  • Harry Brook from England
  • Travis Head from Australia
  • Karun Nair from India
  • Manish Pandey from India
  • Rovman Powell from the West Indies
  • Rilee Rossouw from South Africa
  • Steven Smith from Australia

Players like Harry Brook, Travis Head, Rilee Rossouw and Steven Smith have registered for the highest base price of 2 crores in the IPL 2024 auctions.

Harry Brook was a big disappointment for SRH in the IPL 2023 season, apart from the century he scored at Eden Gardens against KKR. 

Travis Head did a fantabulous job in the 2023 World Cup. His ability to give quick-fire starts as an opener has made him an  in-demand commodity in  the auction.

Rilee Rossouw had a decent season with the bat for Delhi Capitals as a middle-order batter in IPL 2023, where he scored 209 runs from 9 innings at a strike rate of 148.23.

Steven Smith was last seen playing for DC in the IPL 2021 edition. He went unsold in the IPL 2022 auctions and didn't register himself in the IPL 2023 auctions. 

Indian players like Karun Nair and Manish Pandey have registered themselves for the lowest base price of 50 lakhs as capped players. 

Rovman Powell had a decent season with the bat for DC in IPL 2023. But he was released by the Delhi franchise and is in the 2024 auction at a base price of 1 crore.
