Anthony Davis is set to miss around a month after suffering a right foot injury during the  Los Angeles Lakers' recent  game against the Denver Nuggets. The severity of the injury is still yet to be determined. Hence the team doesn’t have a specific timetable for his return, as per a source via the Associated Press on condition of anonymity as neither Davis nor the Lakers have released any information publicly.

Shams Charania of The Athletic was one of the first to report on Anthony Davis’ injury along with Chris Haynes. All reports allude to the fact that Davis is will be injured for at least ‘one month’ while other reports say the Kentucky alumn is out ‘indefinitely’. Davis has been dealing with multiple major injuries throughout his tenure with the Lakers.

Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Washington Wizards, Head Coach Davin Ham addressed the Anthony Davis situation and stated that the forward still has a lot of time to recover. He said, “The season is fairly early, and he just has to take care of his business, starting first and foremost with him getting back healthy,” Ham said.

Ham further advised Davis “(to) just focus on your health, and whatever the issue is, once it gets alleviated, just start the process to get back on the floor, and that’s as simple as that. Injuries are a big part of our league and a part of major sports in general,” Ham added. “Unfortunately, he’s had the injury history that he’s had, but there’s no time to cry over spilled milk.”
