With a lot of things in the MotoGP coming in shape for 2024, Luca Marini has renewed his contract with Mooney VR46 Racing Team. Ahead of the team’s home race in San Marino, the Mooney VR46 confirmed that Luca will remain with the squad for the 2024 MotoGP season.
The Italian motorcycle racer, who currently stands seventh in the overall standings with 125 points, has been with the side since 2018. Marini clinched his first podium in the very same year as his joining at the 2018 German GP. He also finished second in the intermediate class World Championship in 2018.
The No. 10 will continue for third consecutive season with Marco Bezzecchi in the Moto GP as the club shared a post with a caption reading, “MARINI 10 2024. @VR46RacingTeam and @Luca_Marini_97 will have fun together for another year”.
“Remaining in the Mooney VR46 Racing Team also in 2014 is for me a question of trust in a very close-knit working group, which has believed in me for many years. As a Team, we will do everything to achieve our goals the next season,” he said after the renewal on the contract.
