Medal Esports became the sixth franchised team to be announced for the coveted CS:GO tournament along with Reckoning Esports, 7Sea Esports, Revenant Esports, Gods Reign and Marcos Gaming. The official announcement came on June 23, but the official squad for the tournament was announced on Wednesday, June 28.


Iman "cara" Jeffery, Antonio "TonyPOPONY" Matuco, Sharan "Busterrr" Dave, Kiran "Rossi" R, Aman "SH4DY" Virani are the five players who have made it to the squad for the CS:GO event. “Unleashing the Unstoppable Force. Meet our CS:GO Roster,” the official handle captioned the post. 


Eight of the top esports organisations in India will compete in the Skyesports Masters, which will start in July. The League Stage will begin on July 8 and conclude on August 26 and 27, with the top four clubs moving to the Playoffs stage. Significantly, the Playoffs will be a LAN event, according to Skyesports, creating a new standard for the Indian esports market. The tournament's organisers also revealed a sizable prize pool for the event of INR 2,00,00,000.


Medal Esports' founder and CEO Kabir Kohli admitted his enthusiasm for taking part in the Skyesports Masters competition. He noted the tournament's influence on the Indian esports scene and emphasised the organization's long-held ambition of creating a competitive CS: GO team. According to him, the franchised concept of the competition not only promotes grassroots growth through cafe qualifications but also ensures the teams competing can make a profit.
