The domestic ODI cricket returns to the England summer as Metro Bank One-day Cup’s 11 edition is all set to take place from July 24. The tournament will see 84 games being played by the 18 teams. The season opener will be played between Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Derbyshire.

Leicestershire Foxes will start the tournament as the defending champions after they defeated Hampshire in the 2023 edition’s final in Nottingham. In the 2024 season, the teams are divided into two groups of nine teams with each team playing against the teams of their groups in a round-robin format.
The one-day tournament will run concurrently with the English summer where England men’s national team will be hosting West Indies and Sri Lanka in a three-match Test series followed by the limited-overs series against Australia.

The championship takes place in both the group stage and knockout stage with league games to be played till August 14 following which there will be two Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals respectively on August 16 and 18. After a gap of 1 month and four days, the summit clash will be staged on September 22 in Trent Bridge.

The Teams are divided into two groups as follows:
- Group A: Derbyshire, Durham, Hampshire, Kent Spitfires, Lancashire, Middlesex, Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Somerset, Worcestershire Rapids
- Group B: Essex, Glamorgan, Surrey, Nottinghamshire Outlaws, Sussex Sharks, Leicestershire Foxes, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Yorkshire Vikings
Metro Bank One Day Cup 2024: Broadcasting and live streaming details
The broadcast of the 11th edition of the one-day tournament will not be available in India whereas live streaming will be available on the Sony Liv app and website.
