Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is well-known for his express pace and lethal swing. The right-arm quick has the ability to stun batters out of nowhere with his unpredictable bowling. There are only a few bowlers in the world who can bowl with an upright seam as good as Shami. This has also helped the pacer scalp 386 wickets in international cricket across the formats.
While there are only a few in the country who can compete with the skills of Mohammed Shami, there is a new member is Shami’s family that can beat the 31-year-old in pace. Shami has brought home a new luxury car, Jaguar F-type, that can clock and can accelerate from 0-100 km per hour in just 3.7 secs.
The new beast is valued at a whopping price of ₹98.13 lakhs (ex-showroom). Shami’s red-colored Jaguar is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, tuned with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that allows it to run smoothly on the streets, just like its owner does on the field. The Indian quick bowler was pictured with the director of Shiva Motors, Amit Garg, who shared the pictures with Mohammed Shami on his LinkedIn account. In the picture, Garg can be seen handing over the car to Shami and getting a signed ball from the pacer, in return.
It’s also worth mentioning that much like his teammates (Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya), Shami is also fond of owning luxury cars as well as bikes. The 31-year-old India pacer is a proud owner of Toyota Fortuner, BMW 5 series, and an Audi. Mohammed Shami also owns a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 which he recently showed in his recent Instagram post.
Currently, Mohammed Shami participated in the fifth rescheduled Test between India and England where he took two wickets. The 31-year-old then took part in the three-match ODI series where he took four wickets in three games and also became the fastest Indian bowler to complete 150 wickets in ODI cricket. Shami reached the landmark in 80 matches, surpassing Ajit Agarkar’s record who took 97 matches.
