Running on an unbeaten form, the hosts, Team India has been a force to reckon with. The closing ceremony of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, 19th November.
What all does the closing ceremony include?
The Closing Ceremony for the ODI World Cup 2023 has been divided into four parts. With the toss scheduled for 1:30 pm IST, the Indian Air Force’s acrobatic team, Surya Kiran will kick start the closing with an air show at 12:30 PM IST. The show will be held for 10 minutes with the nine-hawk acrobatic team, led by Flight Commander and Deputy Team League Wing Commander Sidesh Karthik, will perform stunts in sync with the music that pays tribute to the ‘New India’. As a part of the ceremony, at the half-time break at around 5:30 PM ITS, there will be a felicitation ceremony of all ICC World Cup winning captains.
The ceremony will also witness a musical performance by Bollywood music director, Pritam. However, during the drinks break, there will be a 90-second laser show, which will start at 8: 30 PM IST. To culminate the event, the champion will be greeted by fireworks and an aerial show by drones to call off the curtains to the 2023 CWC.
