India have played 10 tied matches in their history of ODI cricket so far. The first tied ODI featuring the Indian cricket team took place in 1991 where both India and West Indies ended up getting the same total in Perth. However, after two years, the Indian team went on to play their second tied ODI in history during a match against Zimbabwe at Nehru Stadium in Indore on November 18, 1993.

Exactly 31 years ago, India and Zimbabwe were set to face each other in match number seven of the C.A.B. Jubilee Tournament (Hero Cup), featuring other teams like, West Indies, South Africa and Sri Lanka. India were coming into the contest after winning one and losing one game against Sri Lanka and West Indies respectively. On the other hand, Zimbabwe’s one fixture was washed out due to rain, while they ended up losing the other one against Sri Lanka.
