Pakistan kept their ODI World Cup 2023 hopes alive as they went onto beat New Zealand by 21 runs in a rain-interrupted match. Inviting the Kane Williamson-led side to bat first, the Kiwis posted 401 on the board at the end of 50 overs, courtesy a centurion knock by Rachin Ravindra and a crucial 95-run knock from the skipper.

However, it was Fakhar Zaman who eventually stole the limelight with his unbeaten 126-run knock to help the team reach 200 at the loss of one wicket in 25.3 over, which was ahead of the score of the Kiwis seeing the DLS come into picture.
