The fans are all set to witness the return of one of the most highly-anticipated cricket rivalries as India lock horns with Pakistan in Match 16 of T20 World Cup on Sunday evening. Ahead of the monumental clash, the hype among the fans from both countries is at an all-time high. Notably, Pakistan are yet to beat India in the World Cup, in both 20-over and the ODI format.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, some Pakistan fans pleaded KL Rahul and MS Dhoni to let the Men in Green win this time around. One fan even asked KL Rahul to “not perform” in the match, so that Pakistan can finally break their duck against arch-rivals India in the World Cup. While KL Rahul simply responded with a sly smile, it was former Indian skipper MS Dhoni's reaction which caught the attention of the fans.
After Pakistani journalist Savera Pasa repeatedly requested the Indian players to not perform, Dhoni gave a fitting reply to the journalist as he said, “Humara kaam hi aisa hai, ab toh retire hone waala hu.” Dhoni then walks away with a mischievous smile on his face. The video of the incident was posted on social media by the journalist. It has taken no time for the video to go viral on social media.
