The former athlete had expressed her commitment to studying political science and furthering sports development in her country.
Recently, the 20-year-old announced her OnlyFans debut by posting a link and captioned it, “Finally”. On her OnlyFans account, her bio reads, “Your favourite ex-swimmer.” To subscribe to her profile, fans would need to spend a sum of $35 per month.
Why was Luana Alonso disqualified from Paris Olympics 2024?
Notably, Luana Alonso was removed from the Paris 2024 Olympics Games village after she reportedly engaged in inappropriate behaviour. She competed in the women’s 100m butterfly and finished 6th in her heat and 29th overall, failing to qualify for semifinals. After her race, he announced her retirement from competitive swimming. The President of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee on a radio show commented about her disqualification from the Olympics, which indicated that her disqualification came after she made a trip to Disneyland in Paris.
However, after her disqualification, she said, “I made the decision to stop and I am happy that my last race will be at the Olympics. I am going to study in the United States, I am going to continue my career in Political Science and, why not, be Sports Minister one day. I will always have a fondness for swimming and I may attend a competition, but it is not what I want in life. What I want is to work for a company, I already have my life plan and hopefully it can happen.”
