Australian speedster Pat Cummins welcomed his first child with an amazing video posted on social media. Cummins will now leave for Dubai to reunite with his national teammates ahead of the T20 World Cup set to happen across Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
Notably, Cummins had opted not to be part of the second half of IPL 2021 since his fiancee Becky Boston was to give berth to their second child in October. She delivered a baby boy on Friday evening.
After the child named Albie Boston Cummins was born, the family including their dog got to spend a few heartfelt moments together and now Cummins will be back on the cricket field.
In the emotional video shared by the Aussie cricketer, Cummins has traced back their journey from expected parents to welcoming Albie on this planet. The video shares various moments of Becky's pregnancy from the moment Cummins came to know that he will be becoming a father soon to the moment Albie came into their lives.

Although the non-IPL members of Australia's T20 World Cup squad did land in the Middle East last Friday, Cummins will fly on Tuesday and will have to undergo a mandatory quarantine, so will the Australian cricketers not playing the IPL. The entire team will reunite only before their warm-up match scheduled on October 18 against New Zealand.
Despite dominating the 50 Overs World Cup, Australia are yet to win a title in the shortest format of the game. They will begin their Super 12 campaign with a match against South Africa on October 23. West Indies are the last T20 World Cup Champions and also the only team to have won the tournament more than once.
