Six5Six had signed a 5-year deal with Football Sports Development Limited in 2018, the commercial partners of the All India Football Federation.  The brand manufactured and marketed the kits as per the agreement, which has now expired in 2023. Till 2018, Nike had been the primary sponsor since 2006.

According to Khel Now, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) is close to a deal with Performax, which will provide kits for all the national teams, including the senior men’s and women’s teams, the junior teams, and the futsal teams.  The brand is already associated with many ISL clubs, like Northeast United and Chennaiyan FC.  It is also a kit sponsor for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL and the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League.

It is still unknown whether there will be any design changes to the current Indian jersey. The Blue Tigers have a busy schedule ahead as they face Malaysia in a friendly in October, after which they have the all-important World Cup qualifiers, where they are in Group A with Kuwait and Qatar.
