PUBG Mobile, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, is teaming up with KFC, the global fast-food chain. The PUBG Mobile x KFC collaboration is set to release in October 2023, with a variety of in-game items, events, and promotions.

KFC and Krafton have collaborated on multiple occasions and in a variety of locations, including MENA and North America. These partnerships have added a lot of goods to the KFC-themed game.  The social media post announcing the latest collaboration contains a helmet containing a bucket of chicken wings.

Earlier, a social media post teasing the collaboration contained a seized petrol station containing barricading tape and numerous ‘coming soon’ signs. The light board on the left had a sign of KFC, which is visible in only half of the acclaimed text and followed by a tagline that reads ‘Lands in Erangel.’ The post also had a statement that says: Coming Soon.

The Krafton-made game captioned the latest post announcing the collaboration as, “How do you like your chicken dinners? 🍗Fried with a Molotov? 🔥 Grilled until the opponent gives up their squad's position? 🫕Share how you like your Chicken Dinners & be prepared for an exciting collab this October”

In 2021, these two companies partnered to release a limited-edition meal called the “Pochinki Twister Battle Box Meal” in the Middle East and North Africa region. The meal included a fried chicken twister, french fries, a drink, and a PUBG-themed toy. This collaboration is expected to bring something similar.
