Former India captain and current coach of the men's national team, Rahul Dravid is set to not apply for the head coaching role after his tenure at T20 World Cup 2024. Dravid officially took over the coaching role in November 2021 after a successful stint with the U19 and the A team. He has since led India to one World Test Championship final, one T20 World Cup semi-final and the ODI World Cup final.
Though the Men in Blue failed to go over the line, Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff built one of the most dominant teams in India's cricketing history. In this tenure, Dravid also groomed future stars like Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel and more among others.
