Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting emphasized on the most vital factors a franchise needs to win. The former Australian skipper revealed the four most highly valuable attributes that have brought success to him in career as well. Following the improvement of Delhi based franchise over the years, Ponting showed how side even made it to finals last time. But, how did the franchise improve? The Australian skipper believes that Attitude, Effort, Commitment, and Care are the most crucial attributes in any title chase. As explained by the coach himself, " You turn up with the right attitude, you put in the effort, you bring in the commitment, and you care."

And while the coaches do help them improve, the performance comes from the ones on the field themselves. Therefore, sticking to these aforementioned attributes should see Delhi bagging their first IPL title.

The inspirational speech from Ponting comes ahead of the side's first game against Chennai Super Kings on April 10. Delhi Capitals will be missing their skipper Shreyas Iyer, whose captaincy duties will be held by Rishabh Pant this season. However, the side will also miss the likes of South Africa duo Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Norjte in their opening game.
