After leading Team India to 2-0 win in Test series against Bangladesh, the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma will next be seen in action when India hosts New Zealand in three-match Test series. After the completion of the series, Rohit Sharma accompanied his wife, Ritika Sajdeh to UAE for a quick getaway and returned ahead of the upcoming series.
On his return to India, the captain of the ODI and Test team, took the Mumbai streets in his iconic blue Lamborghini Urus, video of which is going viral on social media. During this, he made a fan’s day as he wished her on her special day. In the video making rounds, a fan approached his car and in a delightful gesture, the skipper met her, along with extending wishes on her birthday.

Rohit Sharma to lead India in New Zealand Test series
Having retired from T20Is after taking India to their second T20 World Cup triumph in June in West Indies, the 37-year-old has focused his attention in the 50-over format and Test cricket. The Indian skipper is set to lead India in the upcoming Champions Trophy, set to be played in Pakistan in February-March 2025, he will continue to lead India in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final, set to be played at the Lord’s if they qualify.
After boosting India’s chances for their third consecutive appearance in the WTC Final, the 37-year-old will lead India in the upcoming Test series against New Zealand. While the first Test is scheduled to commence from October 16 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, followed by the second and third Test set to be played in Pune and Mumbai respectively.
