Gujarat Titans pulled off a thrilling win thanks to Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia's last-over heroics as they chased 15 runs in the last over against Rajasthan Royals with Khan hitting a boundary on the last ball.  With this win, the Royals suffered their first defeat of the 2024 season and lost for the first time at home.

Batting first, Rajasthan had a slow start as they lost the opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler cheaply. But captain Sanju Samson and Riyan put forth a stunning 130-run stand to  post a massive score of 196. Samson remained not out at  68 in 38 balls while Parag got out after scoring a well-made  76.

Then in the second innings, Gujarat got off to a stunning start as the opening pair of Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill posted a 64-run before Rajasthan got back with a few quick wickets. But thanks to Gill's composed batting effort and consecutive cameos from the likes of Vijay Shankar, and Shahrukh Khan, the Titans remained in this clash.

Then the tide turned in Rajasthan's favour as Gill got out after a stunning 72. But towards the end, Gujarat stole the game as they scored 35 in the last two and clinched the win thanks to Rashid Khan's last ball four.
