The star cricketer from Mumbai, Sarfaraz Khan, has married a Kashmiri girl at the Pashpora village in the district of Shopian, Jammu & Kashmir. The 25-year-old, who plies his trade in the Indian Premier League with Delhi Capitals, could be seen in a video, talking to one of the reporters of the local news portal about how it was in his destiny to “get married in Kashmir.”
Sarfaraz Khan had arrived at the place of his in-laws from the city of Mumbai, to join in the holy matrimony with their daughter. He was spotted wearing a black sherwani, a traditional attire for a wedding, to partake in the religious rituals of “Nikah” in the presence of the “Imam.”

While talking to the local reporter after his marriage, the Mumbai-born cricketer was thronged by fans from all corners. Nevertheless, he went on to say, “I feel great to be here.” Then, he talked about how the Almighty had written in his destiny to get married in Kashmir, before saying that the people have given a lot of love to me here. “When I have time, I am going to keep on visiting here,” he added.

When Sarfaraz Khan was asked if he is going to play international cricket, he responded back and said, “If the Almighty has written in my destiny to play for India, then I will.”
