Seven Michigan State footballers have been charged following the tunnel incident. Notably, the Michigan State football team got involved in a scuffle on October 29 after their game against Wolverines.

 

The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday confirmed the charges in connection with the post-game fight inside the tunnel at the Michigan Stadium. Talking more about the brawl, the players engaged in physical fight outside which went into the tunnel following the home team’s 29-7 win in Ann Arbor last month.

 

The campus police had earlier launched an investigation that had left Wolverines players Gemon Green and Ja’Den McBurrows with injuries. While Green was diagnosed with concussion after being struck by a helmet, McBurrows had sustained facial injuries.

Six players, namely, Itayvion Brown, Angelo Grose, Justin White, Brandon Wright, Zion Young and Jacoby Windmon have been charged with misdemeanours with one count of aggravated assult. However, Winmon has been charged with a misdemeanour charge for one count of assault and battery.
