The 39-year-old LeBron James has faced a lot of flak for his recent injuries, but he made it abundantly clear in his latest workout video that he ‘doesn’t get tired’. However, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith doesn’t believe the NBA's all-time leading scorer, as he has called him out on his recent comments.
James turned 38 on December 30, 2022, and has shown no signs of slowing down. Although he has lost some of his explosiveness, he has demonstrated he can score at will, as he had impeccable stats last season, averaging 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game.

A video circulated earlier this week where LeBron said that he simply doesn’t get tired and explained how it's just a mindset. “Don’t mean nothing,” LeBron said. “Tired is only in the mind. You tell yourself you’re tired, you’re gonna be tired. I don’t get tired.”
On First Take Wednesday, Smith said James was "lying" when he said he "doesn't get tired" in a recent workout video shared on social media."He's lying. He has gotten tired, but that's okay," Smith said. "LeBron James, of all the things that make him an extraordinary role model, the greatest thing to me is his conditioning and his commitment to being in shape. It was a travesty that this man, in his 20th season, was in better shape than most of the league last year, including his teammate Anthony Davis."
It is evidently clear that the Lakers forward was exaggerating in his post, but seeing his recent performances, James still has some fuel in his tank. King James also had his fair share of injury troubles last year, but when he did, his recovery times were fairly miraculous. Last season, he averaged an astonishing 35.5 minutes, which was within the top 20 in the NBA.
