Aaron Finch-led Australia created history by registering a comfortable win over the Kiwis and becoming the champions of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Despite Williamson’s gritty knock, the Blackcaps fell short to the convincing partnership of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh which helped Australia in lifting their maiden T20 WC trophy. “This is huge, to be the first Australia team to do it. Reacting on the same, veteran English pacer Stuart Broad made a sarcastic remark. "Covid bubble looks strong," the fast bowler commented taking a dig at the way the autograph thing was taking place.
