The iconic Tomb Raider franchise is set to bring the next Tomb Raider game to India on vast landscapes. According to reports, the game would break away from previous instalments by adopting a fully open-world format enabling players to explore the rich and diverse environments across the Indian subcontinent. The game is being developed with Unreal Engine 5, and it will allow players to roam terrains using motorcycles and parachutes to explore maps full of challenges and mysteries. 

The features that make the upcoming game different from others are: 

Dynamic Transportation 

The game would reportedly allow players to use motorcycles and parachutes to explore the map. This feature of diverse traversal methods aims to redefine the exploration experience that would send the players on an adrenaline rush. 

Game’s Story

As per the rumours, the game’s story revolves around a disaster in northern India. The players would play as Lara Croft and deal with the chaos caused by the event and compete with rival groups like the Society of Raiders. Players could recruit teams and allies to help them in missions. It would add fun and depth to the gameplay, compelling players to form alliances and use the allies’ abilities to overcome challenges and win. 

While the dates of the game’s release aren’t clear till now, sources say it might be released within a year. However, as details aren’t confirmed, players should wait for official announcements from the developers.
