Streamer ‘brianas_w0rld’ has been banned on Twitch when her bikini stream became too hot to handle. The streamer’s ban has once again started a dialogue on whether or not this type of content has a place on the platform. Individuals using the hot tub meta on Twitch are often put under scrutiny as this remains the site’s most controversial incident after a year-long debate over what is considered sexual content.

Going deeper into the issue, Twitch has decided to give hot tub streams their own category by pushing them out of the ‘Just Chatting’ section. But there are still many streamers who push the limits and that’s exactly what happened with brianas_w0rld.

A few days back Twitch streamer ‘brianas_w0rld’ went live with her hot tub. As the stream started she announced her goals like writing a viewer’s name on her body if they donated $20, but her other actions led to the actual reason for the ban. The controversy began when she started recreating yoga poses and doing squats in her bikini, showing her body off to the camera in the process.

Moments after the stream ended, Twitch took action and hit the streamer with a ban. So far, Briana hasn’t addressed the ban on her social media. She has, however, started releasing her videos on YouTube. For the new platform, she was clear that her content isn’t for everyone as her channel description describes her videos as ‘highly inappropriate.'

Some major Twitch streamers have reacted to the controversy and have taken opposing sides on the issue.  JakeNBake tweeted a video and said, “I am on the side of hate the game, not the player. If it’s allowed, go for it,” he stated. “But, I think Twitch has obviously let the line drift way too far AND the insane inconsistency with moderating content on the platform is just disappointing. Whereas, fellow streamer Pokket said, “It’s definitely not and probably just needs to be timestamped and reported.”
