Defending champions Real Madrid will travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night. Real Madrid beat Chelsea in the quarter-finals while Manchester City beat Bayern Munich to reach the semifinals.
Real Madrid were impressive in the first leg as they contained Erliing Halaand successfully but could not prevent a banger from Kevin De Bruyne and the game finished 1-1. Vinicius Junior scored the goal for Madrid in the 36th minute and gave the lead to the defending champions, however, it was Kevin de Bruyne's masterclass that equalised the game in the 67th minute. Eduardo Camavinga is doubtful for this clash but they will welcome Ferland Mendy and Eder Miltao back in the squad.
Manchester City will be happy after the result in the first leg considering their excellent record at home as they have not lost in the last 25 UCL games at home. They are also on a 14-match unbeaten run at the Etihad Stadium in all competitions. The Citizens will vary from Ancelloti’s men as the sky blues lost against the Los Blancos 6-5 on aggregate last year. Nathan Ake is the only player who remains injured for this fixture as Ruben Dias and John Stones will probably continue to be the back pairing for Guardiola.
