After a successful inaugural season, the Ultimate Kho Kho, which was created in collaboration between the Chairman of Dabur India, Amit Burman, and the Kho Kho Federation of India, is set to return with its second season later in December. The 2023-24 Ultimate Kho Kho will take place in Cuttack while the Odisha Juggernauts are the defending champions.

Ultimate Kho Kho 2023-24: Schedule

The schedule of Ultimate Kho Kho 2023-24 is not officially announced yet, however, the tournament will take place in  Cuttack, Odisha. The second season will take place from December 24, 2023, to January 14, 2024. Ahead of the tournament, the player auction for the second season of Ultimate Kho Kho was held in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, November 21. With a total allotted purse of INR 3.90 crore, combinations with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 35 players, 18 players were retained by the six teams.

Ultimate Kho Kho 2023-24: Teams & Players

Just like the first season, a total of six teams will participate in the tournament. The six teams are Odisha Juggernauts, Chennai Quick Guns, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Khiladis, Rajasthan Warriors, and Telugu Yoddhas. In the players' draft, 293 players were divided into three segments. The 18 players retained by the franchisees fall in the ‘Power Players’ category. Players who were part of Season 1 but have not been retained are known as ‘Pole Players’. While the new set of players recommended either by the franchisees or the Kho Kho Federation of India will be called ‘Dream Players’.
