The love and fan following for cricket is beyond the boundaries in India and one such incident is evidence to this. In a latest video doing rounds on social media, India and Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer was seen playing cricket along with the students of the Veda Pathshala in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
The India cricketer who paid a visit to the Veda Pathshala was seen playing cricket along with the students, wearing a traditional white ‘dhoti’ which reportedly is the dress code for pundits in the Indian subcontinent. In the video, the cricketer was seen hitting to different students, while enjoying his time.

The cricketer also took to social media to share the video of the same and share his experience. “The love for the game is unbelievable . Has great time with all the young Veda Pathshala students in Kanchipuram,” he captioned the post.
The 28-year-old was last seen in KKR attire in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. The all-rounder amassed 404 runs in his 14 innings, with an impressive strike rate of 145.85. He also had a century which came off 49 deliveries to become the first KKR batter since Brendon McCullum in 2008 to score a hundred in IPL.
