Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one celebrity couple that fans never seem to get enough of. They are constantly being followed by fans and paparazzi. Even when Kohli has taken a break from cricket and wants to enjoy some time off before he can hit the ground running for Asia Cup 2022, media personnel seemed to have tracked what he was up to.

The former India captain was seen taking wife Anushka Sharma out for a scooter ride in the streets of Mumbai. While the two celebrities were not recognizable as they both had their helmets with black film on, video of their day out on the street has still surfaced on social media.

Meanwhile, the Indian men's cricket team are currently participating in a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. KL Rahul is leading India on this tour in the absence of several senior players including Rohit Sharma who will all return for the Asia Cup except Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel who are nursing injuries.

Kohli will too return to the scheme of things after not opting out of the complete West Indies tour as well as the Zimbabwe series. The right-handed batter has now spent over 1000 days without a hundred in international cricket and has even been struggling for runs in his recent outings. While a school of thought suggested that he should keep playing until he regains his form, Kohli has followed the advice of the likes of former India head coach Ravi Shastri who thought he needed a break.

In a recent interview too, Kohli talked about mental health issues.

"I personally have experienced times when even in a room full of people who support and love me, I felt alone, and I am sure that this is a feeling that a lot of people can relate to," he said in an interview to Indian Express published on Wednesday.

"It is definitely a serious issue and as much as we try to be strong at all times, it can tear you apart," he added.

The 33-year-old would want to be back on top of his game in the forthcoming Asia Cup which is set to be staged in Sri Lanka. In a multi-nation tournament which is being played in the T20 format this year is being touted as a major preparatory tournament for the T20 World Cup later this year in Australia.

India begin their Asia Cup 2022 campaign against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on August 28.
