Former Indian skipper and talismanic batter Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma made some shocking claims. Sharma revealed that the cricketer, along with his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, daughter Vamika and son Akaay are set to move to London soon. While Sharma didn’t share exact details, he hinted that he would move countries and shift his base to the United Kingdom and spend the rest of his life post-retirement there.
It is to be noted that the couple has been time and again spotted in London over the last couple of years. Not only this, but Anushka delivered their son Akaay in the city earlier in this year on February 15. They also own property in London and are most likely to settle there once the cricketer decides to call time on his cricketing career. While Kohli keeps travelling with the team on one assignment or the other, it seems that Anushka has put a halt to her Bollywood career as she stays with the kids overseas.
He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon: Virat Kohli’s former coach Rajkumar Sharma
Sharma was in a conversation with Dainik Jagran, where he revealed the couple’s future plans. He said, “Yes, Virat plans to move to London with his children and wife, Anushka Sharma. He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon. However, right now, Kohli is spending most of his time with his family apart from cricket.” Notably, the celebrated couple was in London for most part of this year.
After his son’s birth, Kohli returned to the UK after India won the T20 World Cup in June. Although he returned home-land for the ODI series against Sri Lanka in July, he flew back to the UK soon and stayed there till August. The cricketer was back home for the start of the Test season for two Tests against Bangladesh, followed by three games against New Zealand. However, the family remained in India following the series, and is currently touring Australia for the five-match series.
