With the fans and cricket enthusiasts eagerly waiting for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to release the schedule of the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), reports have revealed that Vizag, which is one of the home grounds of Delhi Capitals (DC) will host two of its matches initially.

According to the reports quoting Cricbuzz, like last year, Visakhapatnam will remain the second home of Delhi Capitals and will stage a couple of matches this season also. Although, the dates for the matches are not yet announced, it is certain that the Delhi-based franchise will kick off their campaign at the VDCA Stadium in the coastal city.

As reported by Cricbuzz, Visakhapatnam is one of the three non-regular venues for the upcoming IPL season, along with Guwahati and Dharamsala. While the Assam capital serves Rajasthan Royals' second home, Dharamsala has been the second centre for Punjab Kings. As per several reports, while Delhi will kick off their campaign in Vizag, RR will play two games in Guwahati, one against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 26 and March 30 respectively.

Additionally, if reports are to be believed, Shreyas Iyer-led Punjab Kings will play three games in Dharamsala, reportedly against Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
