On Friday, July 5, the stars of the T20 World Cup winning side, including captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav were honoured during the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The T20 World Cup 2024 winning trio, who joined in the star-studded ceremonies of Anant-Radhika, were given a special tribute during the sangeet ceremony in Mumbai.
The T20 World Cup winning captain, Rohit Sharma, who recently announced retirement from T20I, also received special recognition alongside his teammates. Amidst this, Nita Ambani, who is the owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) along with her son Akash Ambani, played the famous track “Lehra Do” from the movie 83 as all stood up to take this moment and celebrate in India’s victory.

Cricketers join in to celebrate Anant-Radhika’s wedding festivities
Along with the T20 World Cup winning trio of Rohit, Hardik and Suryakumar Yadav, the wedding celebrations also included other members of the cricketing fraternity. Apart from them, former World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni was also joined in alongside his wife Sakshi Singh. Ishan Kishan, Krunal Pandya, KL Rahul were also seen during the sangeet ceremony.
