During a Nepal Premier League fixture between Karnali Yaks and Sudur Paschim Royals in Kirtipur on December 16, wicket-keeper Binod Bhandari performed a clever stumpings to dismiss Bipin Sharma on the last ball of the innings as Sudur Paschim Royals were bowled out for 101 runs. Binod Bhandari's Karnali Yaks defeated Sudar Paschim Royals by six wickets, to register their fourth win in the tournament.

The moment happened Bipin Sharma tried to play a paddle sweep against Karnali Yaks spinner Harmeet Singh, but failed to connect the bat with the ball. The ball got stuck between Binod Bhandari’s legs, and the wicket-keeper covered it with his gloves. Being clueless of the ball's whereabouts, the batter left the crease to take a run. As soon as Bipin left the crease, the wicket-keeper took the ball, and performed the stumping to dismiss him on the last ball of the innings.

Harmeet Singh register match-winning figures as Karnali Yaks defeat Sudur Paschim Royals by six wickets

Talking about the match, spinner Harmeet Singh shone with the figures of 3/17 in four overs as Karnali Yaks registered a dominant victory against Sudar Paschim Royals in match number 28 of the Nepal Premier League. Batting first, Sudur Paschim were bowled out for 101 runs in 20 overs. Zeeshan Maqsood top scored with 30(35) runs hitting four boundaries. Along with Harmeet’s three-wicket haul, Scott Kuggeleijn and skipper Dipender Singh Airee scalped two wickets each for Karnali, while Saif Zaib put one in his bag.

Chasing the winning total, Karnali Yaks also got a poor start as they lost three wickets for just 28 runs in 5.1 overs. After that, skipper Dipender Singh and Ishan Pandey took charge of the innings, and added 67 runs for the fourth wicket. Both the batter scored 38 runs, while Ishan remind unbeaten as Karnali achieved the winning target in 15.2 overs.
