American golfer Brian Harman won the 151 st  Open Championship on Sunday, July 23 to claim his first major title. Harman although made into headlines for his glories, he was later seen making the most of the Claret Jug. The American winner of The Open was later seen enjoying chugging beer from the Claret.

The 36-year-old professional golfer, who has been into banters for his resemblance from former Australian cricketer-turned commentator Ricky Ponting was pictured chugging beer from his hard earned first major and was later seen passing the Claret to his friends in a room.

Notably, Harman’s longtime caddy Scott Tway and Aaron Flener were also part of the celebrations, with the latter sharing the entire video. The Savannah born golfer finished with a 13 under par performance, becoming the first American golfer to win the tournament by six strokes since Tiger Woods in 2000.

It is to be noted that his last best finish to a major came in 2017 US Open, where he finished as the runners up.

Norm Macdonald’s five-year old prediction comes true

Actor-comedian Norm Macdonald had predicted Brian Harman’s to be the next big name in golf. The Canadian comedian who had once claimed that “nobody knows more golf than me” in a tweet out in 2018 also expressed his admiration to watch Brian Harman.

So was true as Macdonald’s old tweet from 2018 wet viral against after the American professional golfer lifted the 152-year-old relic. “I love watching you, Brian. You have it all. You can hit it a mile, and feather it around the greens, but what will win you majors, the Masters likely being your first, is your easy perfection with the blade. Respect.”

However, the American caddy had also responded to Norm, stating “Not every day that a comedy legend sticks up for you!! Thanks Norm!”
