The tennis tournaments are one with the French Open also in line next. The ATP 1000 tournament in Rome kick started on May 8 and is set to culminate on May 21 with the French Open starting the very day. However, the ATP Rome does not have many star players, but a few names which are part of the tournament is world number six ranked Holger Rune.
In the Dane’s Round of 32 match which was against Italian Fabio Fogini, the young 20-year-old did not get a great welcome. As the Dane took the court, he was welcomed with boos. It did not stop here, the young player was cheered for when he made and error in the match and dropped a point.

Talking of the match, the home favourite Fabio Fogini fell in two straight sets against world number six. The match which lasted for one hour and 17 minutes, saw Rune win 6-4, 6-2 to cruise past in the next round.
The young tennis star however gave all that back after his triumph over the 103-ranked player. During the on-court interview, Rune added, “You know, actually, it was a couple of guys who tried to make me lose focus behind the court. But yeah guys, it didn’t work. I stayed in the zone.”
