Former Real Madrid and Manchester United midfielder David Beckham’s son recreated the same magic his father possessed during his playing days.  Romeo Beckham, while playing for Inter Miami II, scored a scintillating free-kick goal sealing up a comeback 3-1 win over local rivals Orlando City B.

Romeo was quiet during the opening 45 minutes against Orlando on Sunday night but then responded in a big way to help his team claim an important three points away from home. This also was Beckham’s first league goal of the season while also assisting once in their 3-1 win. The 19-year-old played a crucial role in Darren Powell’s side in the comeback result, as he set up Shanyder Borgelin’s goal before scoring his maiden goal for the icing on the cake.

But unfortunately for the senior Inter Miami side, they didn’t share a similar result against Orlando. They suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss after an extra-time own goal by Damion Lowe. Reacting to his defeat, Inter Miami coach Phil Neville expressed disappointment with the performance.

While speaking in the post-match interview, he said, "I think about our supporters that drove up tonight from Miami. It was incredible the way they supported us, they stayed with us right till the end...In terms of the players and supporters, it was a brilliantly contested derby. I feel gutted for the players because they put in so much...We'll just lick our wounds and go back to DRV PNK Stadium for a big game on Wednesday."
