On Day 3 of the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024-25, Dhruv Jurel once again hogged the limelight for pulling off a brilliant catch. The India wicketkeeper-batter, who is playing in Shubman Gill-led India A, completed a stunning diving catch to dismiss in-form batter Musheer Khan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
After India B bowled out India A at 231, the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led side looked to add more to their lead of 90 runs. With Yashasvi Jaiswal and the skipper starting the innings, the former was dismissed after scoring just nine runs. However, the skipper looked firm on the crease, he was joined by Musheer Khan, who played a crucial knock of 181 for the side, helping them post 321 runs on the board in their first innings. But the Gill-led side had different plans as Dhruv Jurel produced a sensational dive to complete a flying catch and dismiss Musheer at duck.

The moment came on the sixth delivery of the sixth over which was being bowled by Akash Deep. The Indian pacer bowled a perfect length delivery which Musheer shuffled right across as he was opting to go for a flick. But in the momentum, he got a thin inside edge to the left of the keeper, and Dhruv Jurel went flying to complete a one-handed screamer.
Speaking of the match, at tea on Day 3, India B posted 33/3 after nine overs with Dhruv Jurel taking three crucial catches to send the top order back to the pavilion. However, the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led side have now posted a 123-run lead with the game looking evenly poised with just four more sessions remaining.
