Former Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar, expressed his disappointed and despair after the Pakistani team were all out against India in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The Men in Green started off well with the bat as the top-order seemed in a good touch. But after Pakistan lost its key players - Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, the remaining batting fell-apart like nine pins.

After cruising at 155-2, Pakistan was bundled out at a score of 191 in 42.5 overs. Reacting to this poor batting effort, Shoaib Akhtar took to social media and spoke about how the Pakistan team missed out on a big opportunity, especially while playing on an incredible batting track.

He further shared how Pakistan failed to capitalize on these conditions as the team lacks the talent to put on big scores. Shoaib Akhtar also criticized the Men in Green for their poor batting approach as the batters played too many cross-batted shots which lead to their collapse.

Concluding his video, Shoaib Akhtar praised the Indian captain Rohit Sharma for marshalling his troops well after being put on the back foot. Akhtar also was extremely impressed by the spinners as they produced several chances and kept the Pakistani batters guessing.
