IPL Bridging the gap between entertainment and cricket
IPL cricket has always been seen as a part of sports entertainment. Now with Ed Sheeran displaying his love for cricket, especially for the IPL team, it is clear the growing influence of the format between sports and entertainment.
Throughout the time Sheeran spent at the nets, Riyan Parag and Tushar Deshpande seemed surprised by his cricketing skills. They too joined him, and Parag was quite impressed with him.
"He's got a good swing," Parag said in a surprised tone. The camp was alive with grins and laughing as Ed blended in with the Royals.
Before leaving, Ed Sheeran surprised Riyan Parag and Tushar Deshpande by giving them Ipswich Town jerseys. In return, the players posed for selfies with him while donning a Rajasthan Royals jersey.
In IPL front, Rajasthan Royals are gearing up for the upcoming IPL 2025 season. With players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer in their team, RR looks strong enough to give tough competition to other IPL teams.
