The clash between Portugal and Bosnia and Herzegovina was interrupted when a fan invaded the field with a Portugal flag. There is no doubt in the fact that Ronaldo enjoys a massive fan following across the globe, and what happened during the clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina was a simple testament of it. Ronaldo was making his 199th cap for Portugal and was playing his third match under the new manager Roberto Martinez, who joined the team after the 2022 FIFA WC.
Fans witnessed a heartwarming moment when a fan rushed to the Portuguese star in the second half. The man gave Ronaldo a big hug and lifted him, and the legendary footballer also embraced his fan. Not only this, but Ronaldo also did his famous ‘Siuuu’ celebration with the fan, before he was escorted out of the field by the security. The video of the heart-melting incident has gone viral all-over social media.
